Editing and cancelling

Learn about the options available for bookings you have organized that have not yet started

Booking edition

You can edit a booking of any type of resource from the booking record. The booking record is the view that shows us the details and available actions depending on who the organizer is.

You can access a booking record in two ways:

  • If it is a booking for the current day, from the home screen. You must click on the booking record.
  • From the Bookings section, click on the booking record.

Once in the record, as long as you are the booking organizer, you can edit the booking.

The editing options depend on the resource category and settings set by your organization, but typically include booking date and/or time, title and description, and guests. You must save your changes to affect the booking. Changes will be notified to guests of the booking, if there are any.

You won't be able to edit bookings that have already started, because you've checked in or it was done automatically.

You won't be able to edit supervised desk bookings where you're not the supervisor.

Booking cancellation

You can cancel any booking you are an organizer of from the booking record. The booking record is the view that shows us the details and available actions depending on who the organizer is.

You can access a booking record in two ways:

  • If it is a booking for the current day, from the home screen. You must click on the booking record.
  • From the Bookings section, click on the booking record.

Once in the record, as long as you are the booking organizer, you will have the option to cancel it.

Bookker will ask for confirmation before cancelling your booking permanently.

You will not be able to cancel bookings that have already started, because you have checked in or it has been done automatically.

You will not be able to cancel supervised desk bookings where you are not the supervisor.

Cancellation of supervised bookings

If you are a supervisor in a supervised desk booking, you can cancel the booking globally for all users, as explained above,but you can also cancel the booking of each desk separately.

To do this, you must access the Bookings section and filter by Supervised. By clicking on one of the bookings you will access its record with all the details, including all the users involved and their assigned desks. From here you can cancel each desk booking, keeping the desks of the others. Bookker will ask for confirmation before cancelling the booking permanently.
